Matt Boyd is currently the Mid-South Network Director with The Table Network, which is a growing network of churches and leaders who long to see others live in the freedom and family found at the table Jesus has prepared. Matt's role is to empower kingdom-minded leaders to begin churches and/or ministries that recapture what it means to live lives marked by faith, hope, and love.

Prior to his role with The Table Network Matt served as an International Church Planter in S. Asia. His primary role consisted more of a catalyst of movements where he equipped nationals and helped them get new things started. His passion is to see the church go forward in places where there are few to none. God blessed his efforts in S. Asia as Matt witnessed new multiplying churches start where just a few years before none existed. His focus from the beginning was to play a background role so that his international work never depended on him, but Christ alone. For this reason much of his work played a non-residential role as he sought to leave it in the hands of local pastors and leaders, not the foreigner.

Born in North Carolina, Matt grew up near Charlotte, and would live there until he graduated high school. Upon graduation, Matt moved to the coast of North Carolina to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he received a B.A. in Communications. He holds an M.Div. in International Church Planting from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, NC, and an M.A. in Intercultural Studies from the College at Southeastern.

He and his beautiful Argentinean wife Andrea are world travelers currently based in Raleigh, NC and have been blessed with three boys: Elliot, Liam, and Oliver.
